AUDITION FOR US

DC Black Broadway is always looking for new talent! Audition for various singing and non-singing roles for upcoming productions.  You will be allowed to audition for multiple talent roles if it applies.

GENERAL INFORMATION ​

  • All performers must be comfortable working in a collaborative and energetic ensemble.

  • Movement and basic stage choreography are required for most roles unless otherwise specified.

  • Singing requirements vary by role (see details below).

  • Age ranges listed refer to the actor age, not the character age.

  • Roles are open to diverse casting.

Character Descriptions

DANCERS 

Prepare a routine, 2 minutes or less.

ACTORS 

Prepare a monologue, 2 minutes or less.

SINGERS

Prepare a song, 2 minutes or less.
